Program Details
This program is designed to prepare students for employment in the field of baking and pastry preparation. Students will gain experience preparing fruit, bakery goods, desserts and bread. Techniques used in the culinary field during preparation along with preparing baked goods for various nutritional needs and special diets will be learned. This is a career preparation program where students will become proficient in necessary employability skills, safety procedures and roles within teams, work units, departments and organizations in the culinary industry.
